Our mission

Fewer surprises at the gate

Most travel problems are not caused by bad luck. They are caused by a rule nobody explained in time. Our mission is to close that gap before departure, not after.

Air travel is one of the most heavily regulated consumer experiences in the world, and one of the least well explained. The rules exist, they are published, and they are genuinely knowable — but they are scattered across tariff documents, national regulations, airport operator notices and carrier fine print written for lawyers.

AirSupportTeam exists to assemble that material into one calm, structured reference and keep it current. Not tips. Not hacks. A guidebook: consistent chapters, plain sentences, explicit sources and honest statements about uncertainty.

We measure success in a simple way. If a reader arrives at the airport already knowing what will happen, what their ticket permits and what to ask for if something goes wrong, the page did its job.

Principles

Four pillars we hold ourselves to

  1. 01

    Make the rules legible

Airline policy is public but rarely readable. Our job is translation: same meaning, fewer obstacles, no loss of accuracy.

  2. 02

    Stay independent of the transaction

We take no booking commission and accept no payment for favourable coverage. Advertising, if ever introduced, will be labelled and kept out of editorial decisions.

  3. 03

    Be specific about scope

Guidance states where it applies, when it was reviewed and what it does not cover. Vague reassurance is worse than an honest limit.

  4. 04

    Keep it free and open

No paywall, no registration, no dark patterns. A traveler stuck at a gate should not hit a signup form.
