What we do, what we do not do, and how to get the most out of the guidebook. If your question is not here, the support center or contact form will reach a specialist.
About AirSupportTeam
- Does AirSupportTeam sell flight tickets?
- No. AirSupportTeam is an independent aviation knowledge center. We publish guides and reference material about airline rules, bookings and travel planning. We do not sell, issue or manage tickets, and we are not a travel agency or a carrier.
- How current is the information on this site?
- Every guide carries a review date. Rule-sensitive pages — baggage, documents, compensation — are re-checked against primary carrier and regulator sources on a rolling quarterly schedule, and immediately when a major policy change is announced.
Using the guidebook
- Can you contact an airline on my behalf?
- We do not act as your representative with a carrier. What we can do is explain which policy applies to your situation, what wording matters and which channel is most likely to resolve it, so your own message lands correctly the first time.
- Where does your information come from?
- Published conditions of carriage, airline tariff filings, civil aviation authority publications, airport operator documentation and international conventions. Our editorial policy sets out how sources are verified and cited.
- Is the guidebook free to read?
- Yes. All guides are free and open, with no account required. The newsletter is optional and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
- Can you tell me whether my specific ticket is refundable?
- We can explain how to find and read the fare rules attached to your ticket, and what the common conditions mean. We cannot access your booking, so the final determination always comes from your ticket's own fare rules or the issuing agent.
- Which languages are available?
- The guidebook is published in English. Where a rule depends on a non-English source document, we cite the original alongside our translation of the relevant clause.
Support and corrections
- Do you keep records of the questions I send you?
- Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months so we can follow up and improve our guides. It is never sold, and it is not published with identifying details. Our Privacy Policy sets out retention and deletion rights in full.
- How do I report an error on a page?
- Email editorial@airsupportteam.com with the page address and, if possible, the source that contradicts us. Substantive corrections are published with a dated note explaining what changed.
- Are the guides suitable for business travel programs?
- Yes. Travel managers use the Airline Rulebook and Change & Update chapters as neutral reference material. You may link to and quote our pages with attribution; bulk reproduction requires written permission.
Independence
- Do you accept sponsored articles or paid links?
- No. We do not sell placements, links, rankings or favourable coverage. Our Editorial Policy explains how commercial separation is maintained.
