The team behind your global air travel guidebook
AirSupportTeam LLC is an independent publisher based in Bozeman, Montana. We research airline policy and turn it into structured, readable reference material for travelers anywhere in the world.
AirSupportTeam began in 2016 as an internal reference document. A small group of travel specialists kept answering the same questions — what counts as a significant schedule change, whether a name correction is allowed, how a connection is protected — and kept discovering that the published answers were either buried in legal documents or confidently wrong on the open web.
So the notes were rewritten for other people to read. Then organised into chapters. Then reviewed, dated and sourced. What exists today is that same document, maintained in public: a guidebook covering twelve areas of air travel, free to read and free of booking incentives.
We are deliberately not a travel agency. We do not issue tickets, hold inventory, receive commission from carriers or represent passengers in disputes. That boundary is what allows the guidebook to describe airline behaviour accurately, including where it is inconvenient.
Everything published carries a review date and a named editorial owner. When a policy changes, the page changes — and the change is noted. When we get something wrong, we correct it visibly rather than quietly.

Clarity before cleverness
If a sentence needs a second reading, we rewrite it. Aviation is complicated enough without the prose adding to it.
Sources over summaries
We cite conditions of carriage, tariff filings and regulator publications — not other websites repeating each other.
Global, not generic
Rules differ by region. We say where guidance applies rather than flattening the world into one set of assumptions.
Support is part of publishing
When a guide cannot answer a specific case, a person can. Our specialists answer questions the guidebook did not anticipate.
